You are buying edition number 25 of 70

This piece was created, hand cast and finished by portrait sculptor Charlotte Hern. It is a limited edition piece and no more than 70 will ever be produced from the original mould.

2015 also marks the 70th anniversary of VE day (Victory in Europe Day) which in turn marked the end of World War II in Europe. To commemorate this anniversary and the part Sir Winston Churchill played during the war, we have produced a limited edition bust to celebrate the remarkable man who led Great Britain to victory in World War II.

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, arguably Britain’s greatest Prime Minister, was born in 1874 at Blenheim Palace in the UK and died in 1965. As a testament to his remarkable life he was honoured with a state funeral.

2015 is notable for being the 50th anniversary of his death, the 75th anniversary of his succession as Prime Minister of an all party co-coalition government, and the 75th anniversary of his famous “Finest Hour” speech made at the start of “The Battle of Britain” in World War 2.
